Slage I don't think I've seen anything about this on either Dofus or Wakfu's En sites/forums.....

The game is "Slage", and is a "Hack and Slash" (a.k.a button-masher action-combat type thing)

Because that team probably never worked on Wakfu (the MMO).

This could be cool, though honestly I'm tired of these chibi character designs.

This game looks to be extremely amazing. Imagine running around as your favourite Class jumping and smashing things and casting spells in a real time battle instead of a turn based situation.

Will Ankama ever think about a new world? Write a new tale? Perhaps a new plot? Story? Fable?

Anyway... Just wondering...

If its not broken dont fix it. Creating a whole world is not easy, and personally i love this one. It has so much potential, and they are using that potential wisely.
Just reading the comics and playing the games you see how the world of 12 (or 14) can be expanded creating amazing stories.

If you think about it, Ankama is very very similar to Blizzard (WoW). They used Warcraft to establish the back story, used comics to fill plot holes and such and then WoW was born. Ankama started with Dofus to establish the main story and add atmosphere, used comics to give new stories inside the World of Twelve and then made Wakfu and the tv series.

Except Blizzard has a solid list of other settings (both before, and after Warcraft1). Diablo and Starcraft being the most notable, and Titan is apparently a new IP all together.

Smaller companies (smaller than Ankama) can manage it too.

Ankama is trying to build a supermarket, that only sells apples.

"Is trying to build"? They already built it. But they didn't notice that when one piece of the puzzle fade away, all other pieces will start to fade too.

Comparing Ankama to Blizzard is equally stupid as comparing Hugo Boss to Boticario. (A Brazilian brand that sells perfume as well and recently joined the global market.)


I'm not saying that Ankama sucks. Otherwise, I wouldn't play their games. I'm just saying I'm tired of the same. Bring us something new.
Ankama is a young and creative brand with a huge potential. Ankama is also a company with a single successful plot, which is actually a really interesting, but also, a really messed up story.

While their characters are used in all of their games, at least they're completely original. World of warcraft classes have been used tons of times, so putting them inside another game wouldn't help the game sell.

They're not that original that Ankama have burnt all their imagination from their brains.

Hell, each class can be summed up in one word each if you want (well, maybe 2 for Xelor and Pandas)

Games like WoW, which pick generic class-names over multiple classes do so because each class contains a number of different archetypes. In Wakfu, and others, these individual archetypes are divided into individual classes. Quantity vs Quality.

Just you to know, WOW have pandawas now hahahaha.

Given that Warcraft 3 had Pandaren before Dofus had Pandawa, it's not exactly a big change.

They are desperate to get players back in the game, but it just makes them look even more ridiculous, Cataclysm barely been out and they are already planning to increase the level cap, it was a total failure indeed.

I hate it when people say that Ankama don't finish their games. Wakfu and Dofus are MMOs, there is no end to an MMO...
