Thank you very much Hatespawn.
I love you too.
From what I have read and heard you seem a little rough around the edges on Nox however I value your contributions to forum and especially to Wakfu Elements you have saved me hours in not looking up where something actually is obtained by. Your knowledge of equipment had also helped me advise others on equipment choices especially for fire and crit.

P.S. I have asked Troyle to re-name you to Lovespawn (I hope you don't mind).

P.S.S you said I wished the community was more light heartened with tactics and bosses. You inspired me to take over organizing excarnus and moowolf for 5 guilds as I have killed those UB 20 times using the standard tactics (I know these are the easy ones). I thought why not do as your suggested so I am creating them set teams.

Eventually I am not sure if it will be too much work but I could literally open it up to the whole of Remington basically "Who hasn't got a moo/exc group already". I did the maths on the spread sheet in terms on the minimum per turn it was around 2300 final damage moowolf can be a little less.

Was I missed out as I do not get involved in trash talking .
Or perhaps you haven't seen any of my in-game boast enough to be considered on your current list.
No boast single biggest contributor to the game.

Hello

Its sad to say but many players do not know the rules of the game.

I have written a guide (with help) about the rules and bans.

Short version its fine to attack random people, its fine to attack the same person as long as you do not do it too often and you are not saying to them anything which could possible cause offense. I wish you good luck as an outlaw as I am against pvp and if someone claims to be a outlaw play style it will be highly likely that you be the target and the victim which is more often the case at least in Remington.

Here is an outlaw guild of the Remington server.

I am pretty forgiving so I wont mind the occasion attack and as this game doesn't have a massive amount of new players bare in mind others are less forgiving. Also I never really agree with someone having fun at someone else expense and they excuse "its part of the game" wears pretty thin rather fast.

I almost forget outlaw status gives you zero benefits at present (apart from having an icon above your head).

I all agree with all the suggestions made.
I wrote a guide about how to clean up your contact list here which assumes you can remember the person character name.

Who did not even know what AHK was before this thread is probably going to have a hard time writing even a simple bot with it.

It is the most basic scripting program anyone who ever wanted to write some kind of bot or auto clicker has heard of.
I remember in college they was always telling me to read things in full which is a habit I try to keep with.

I now adapter it to, read and try to understand every single comment that has been made.

Shaleigh posted this on the first page I suggest in the future we consider what has already been said before commenting.

As someone else stated botting in of any kind is ban-able if someone wishes to ignore the rules and risk it its up to them and Wakfu bots are p2p. Reporting people is very straight forward take some decent amount of screenshots then message Troyle or the other moderators.

If you would like further information on ban or reporting please click here.

What new players need to know My aim is create one video however this might be changed to a series of short videos to help new players.

I would like your help as to what you feel is the most important things new players new to know and I will cover this in a video. Ideally I would made one video covering the most important topic as the main video which can be shown to new players. I need your help as I have been playing too long to give a decent opinion as to what new players need.

I feel it is important for new players to know:
  • How the combat system works well at least the basics
  • Professions (note from Mik)
  • General overview of the classes
  • How damage/builds and stats work
  • How to find a group
  • How to find a guild
  • What the different nations are all about
  • The eco-system
  • About the different servers
  • Fun stuff to do

Thank you, in advance.

JerryDB

Please note I will also learn how to do some video editing for this video/series. I will also give full credit to everyone on the video for their contributions.

I like the general idea. I will help you by sending people to Hakazaba's Guild (The Fleas).
I have also created you a room on my text/voice server.
I am the leader of a guild alliance click here to read more.
I will also send you anyone else I can find who might be interested in (who may already be in a guild).

I really like the sound of filming at least parts of it.
I originally was going to make a video of me on the road to level 100 but I didn't have the hard drive space, filming software but the main reason I was mutli-accounting so the videos look beyond awful.

I wish you good luck.

Btw its JerryDB one of the most famous and well connected players on Remington.

I recently updated and simplified the Wakfu Alliance website.
Everything has its own catergory and clear description.

I previously gave many people my entire contact list people for whatever reason never actually used them thats why the old one was deleted. I was thinking about creating a new one but I am not sure anyone would actually use it. However I might make a new one anyway.

In case you haven’t read the main topic here it is.
This the new Wakfu alliance 2013 thread link.

Which fullys explains for the reasons for the changes and the new style.
Short version I am allowing all of the Remington server to use my mumble server and keeping the behaved people.

The two others guilds RAGE and phantom do not have a guild chat on purpose we use chat room 1 & 2 and team up with the other guilds. Also every single person on the server should have a comment against their name so you know what guild they are.

I am not sure how it would be possible to get people using it during an event as mumble takes 5 minutes-30 minutes (if not longer per person) to set up. If we can get it set up that is.

I am taking a break from events I can not really say more at the moment.

Sorry Hakazaba I too use the server everyday, is your name Hazoo? (or something like that).

I believe I have already answered most of your criticisms within the last reply.

What I meant is mid-level players do not really exist in the long term, even people who mostly do professions all day get level 100 at some point. Also are you saying the entire party needs to be mid-level as what typically happens is you will get one/two long term players (high levels) take four/five low/middle levels to do stuff.

If you wasn't aware the Wakfu Alliance has been reset and only has five guilds that all actively use the mumble server. The guilds censored and mystics (some members) are on the highest time zone.

In the Wakfu Alliance 2012 I had a character within every single guild of the all so +20 alts. I spent a minimum of 5 hours which each guild at various times encouraging the use of the mumble server. After investing the time I sat back and waited for the rewards, they did not appear.

What I found its all about the guild leader, if the guild leader does the encouraging then it will work as no one like some JerryDB coming into their guild and giving orders (even if its for their own good).

So lets say mid-level recruitment is a problem the steps I will take is, ask the guild leaders to encourage more people to use the server especially low-mid levels.

Previously I even made a competition for the guilds who could get the most members onto mumble won kamas I gained two people long-term from this and no guild actually won as 1 person from a massively active guild was not worthy of a win.

Very few people in the alliance actually use mumble, and its not really working for establishing links between guilds that allow mid level players to find each other if that is part of its purpose.

I think some effort should be made to address this.
Within the guilds currently in the new alliance many use the mumble server. I may have to expand the server soon.

Mid-level players do not really exist. Name as many level 40-80 players as you possibly can.
The only one person I know at present is Tryzeon who joined Wakfu 2 days ago.
Leveling is so easy people do not stay low-mid level for very long.

A serious problem with effects the Wakfu Alliance, my guild, the Remington Server and Wakfu itself is the amount of new players and the amount of people that quit the game. As I have been playing since day one I find especially as a guild leader I let mid-levels put in their own amount of effort. Not that I ignore them or don't bother helping them out , I have spent many hours helping people only for them to quit without a good bye. I can only look after the people who continue to play which usually end up maximum level by no fault of their own.

I will be creating a new Wakfu Alliance 2013 video and a full tutorial on how to get mumble to work. This should help and encourage even more users.

HakazabaJub you do not use the server enough to give a accurate criticism, previously you said that the server is only used by high levels for UBs. On that occasion as the thread was not about the WA I did not reply. Lets say for example that no one under level 50 uses the server and we have 1 member from 4 guilds using the server. A level 10 asks in one of the guild chat for normal tofu dungeon run the high levels including myself roll our eyes. Then we ask all the guilds online and create the person a group.

Correct, however I will also take any possible criticism from those who do not like or understand the concept on a Guild Alliance.
Karah the easiest way to think is.
What don't you like?
What could work better than it does now?

I did of course post some of the possible criticisms already such as why use mumble, this one comes up all the time or why not merge guilds.

Mainly what I do for the Alliance members is help them with getting onto mumble and anything else recently lots of people have been asking for crafters .
