Hairy Moon card is still a bit bugged Character name: Kissemisse
Ankama display name: Kissemisse

Date and time: 2012-09-08 , every time I draw the card combo
Map: Any map I draw the card combo

Bug description: When Hairy moon card is drawn after Ecaflip card or Ouginak card it's completely random what character it hits. It's supposed to hit enemies with Ecaflip and allies with Ouginak. But kitikaze doesn't care about friend or foe.
Reproducibility: Every time I draw the card combination

Killed directly by card combo Ouginak + Ecaflip Character name: Kissemisse
Ankama display name: Kissemisse

Date and time: 2012-09-08 , 18:41 (servertime)
Map: Sadida Kingdom, Nun dungeon, Forfut Island

Bug description: When drawing Ouginak and then Ecaflip card with Ecaflip class the Eca instantly dies instead of being left with 1 hp as before.
Reproducibility: This has happened to me around 7 times in a row now for a weeks time. First in Forfut, then in Nun dungeon and now last in Sadida Kingdom

Range works on a Pandawas spells. Only class I've tested it on.. Except special spells like Dairy Springer for natural reasons.

If you want to try it for yourself you could always save 80 points, level to 32 and put on Moskito Hat that gives +1 range and see if it works before spending points.

The common builds are:

Fire/Water - Map manipulator with good damage output, short or long range
Water - Map manipulator and support debuffer, lowering enemies resists
Earth - Brawler with high damage output and can be very tanky too, not really good as map manipulator as it's dependent on carrying barrel

Short summary. Plenty of expert Pandausers that can elaborate.

A couple of problems I can see with this. Certain skills would end up getting locked again, certain skills you need but are limited to one use per turn would be in trouble.
Nope. I mean least used in a global scale. As in... The last skill you ever used with that character, not in the battle.

If you for example have a combo with three spells and the cap now is (hypothetically) lvl 80 for each one of them. The spell mostly used will raise to 100..while the lesser one used will drop to 50...

Good that they are trying to fix it. And well.. better late then never. All we can do is wait for new spell system. Only then we will be able to judge if they did it wrong or if they did it well.

That's the spirit!
You just won this thread!

There would literally have been no problem at all if they had just waited and rolled out the entire system at once.

I find it hard to argue with this.
Only thing would be that if they are changing the system so spell levels will get a cap... they'd rather upset the few that already have gone over the cap. Then having even more players being nerfed when the new changes are applied.

It sure will be interesting to see how they will "restore" balance.

True..and a glasscannon build will lack those resistances when aiming for full damage.
But Troyle has announced that it will not be a point system. We just have to wait patiently for new information.

I'd say we wait for some real info on how the new system will work before we go all doom and gloom.

So this is pretty much and admission that the worst fears we have about this are going to happen. Anyone smart enough to read between the lines will figure that you have no intention of putting the ones that raised their spell levels while ankama so foolishly had wisdom stat in the game in line with the ones that didn't benefit from that.

This.

Unbelievable that you do not even attempt to create a balance. You pretty much admit there that you are clueless on how to solve the issue of initial imbalance and now you will forever let those who leveled their spells at max lvl in game and they will forever be ahead of anyone who is ever going to play this game.

Guys.. did you even read this part:

The reason why we decided to stop the evolution of spell experience once you reach level 105 is to solve a balance issue that just deepens into the game. Some are concerned that this just brings a bigger imbalance between those who now have to suffer this limitation and those who could level with the old system. Indeed. But leaving things the way they were would just have increased the amount of players able to abuse the old balance. We favored a fast action knowing that the new system would come soon and that then, balance would be restored.

He is saying that they are stopping the leveling NOW to further increase an imbalance BEFORE they implement the new system.
