My experience
I really wanted to play v2 Beta before. But I went to the web to see there's only closed Beta. So
when the news about v3 Beta released. I felt excited and joined it in May last year. It was hard in the beginning with lack of guides (There is the guide, but it takes me some times to find out the Gremlin is the guide) and most people you meet speak French. Still, I make some friends and we hunt high lvl monsters to lvl faster also keep our spells strong enough for Group PvP. I manage to make my Air cra to lvl 60+ and I stop from there inside the French Server. It's fun to see the Marloboss in Amakna, the black crow, being chased by the Drheller inside Bonta mine and war with Amakna with my friends. I have a lot of fun with the game.
Opinion
Simply the game is good in my opinion, but after so many fix, I will say the game didn't improve a lot. In later update, I think Wakfu starts to become Dofus.
The ecosystem is the only thing that make this game outstanding. Crafting has flaws, but it gives players a chance to do something else than killing. However, other aspects are not really good.
Spell level sounds nice, but after so many fixes, It's getting worse. The ideas in v2 is good. The amoun of spell exp you got depends on the lvl of monsters you get. So if your spell lvl is lv0, you gain more spell exp then exp when fighting the bow meow.(Hope it's true, because I only saw it in really old post from Devs) the one in v3 is challenging and fun because you can't get your spell exp over exp. Good, but why take 10 spell exp to lvl a spell from 0 to 1 which it used to be lvl 1 to 2 in the early version ?? And when I continue to lvl up my current character, I found out the gauge between each spell lvl are larger than before. Why makes it so hard?
Grouping is what an online game is for, but it isn't really popular in Wakfu for a long time. When I first join. The gobballs in gobball fields in Bonta always show up with a group of 5~9 gobballs, making players yelling for group in the zone. Now, it's so normal to see a lonely gobball...
And I miss the yelling too.
The Kamas was hard to earn before, but after 1 year, the new version makes Kama so easy to earn just like Dofus. Yeah, you mint you own Kamas, but It was hard to get mineral before because there isn't mineral in the map sitting at there waving at you, they only exist in Mine, and if you want to get them you often need to kill Mature Drheller that guard the mineral, and because Drheller respawn pretty quick, it's always good to go
in group(that's what makes it fun). Now... Lots of mineral, easy to earn Kamas, lots of kamas, what to trade between players ??
Guides still lack for newbies, but I am not going to comment about it, because I figure out the way to play this game after some experience. Since I think it's better for you to find the post inside this forum to know how to play. It's a bit funny to see someone who said he played this game before but doesn't know what and how good a nation's Bonus is
States were different from Dofus, but now... I don't see much difference except spell lvl. the fix... I think is sometimes good sometimes bad, they still didn't improve it but make it similar to Dofus.
Taxes is one thing that really depress me, Just put in on the show case and you lose kamas.... Seriously, this isn't working even with the treasure box implement !! It wasn't like this before.
AI is always a pain for programmer, but some fix already change some funny AI, more skills added for Boss like Trool, so a Cra can't Kite it. Maybe there will be more in the future, since it's not perfect yet.
Craft is good,but a pretty annoying thing is that no matter how complicate a thing you make, you only got 100 xp. For example, lvl 70 Herbalist before can made a pot called blood essence ?? require tofu blood,Crow blood blah bah... lots of ingredients, I happily made one, yeah 100 xp. and you have more than 10k to go. I really think it's a flaw.
The last part, most important, which has already been told by lots of people, this game is not finish, I know the company is working on the previous elements I mentioned, but you only have 1 month left.
Other Stuff (not really for the topic)
This game is surely a pain for the company since its manager quit recently, and Amakna is also working on another game called Slage... I guess I'll not subscribe for the game, I might wander in this forum to see if there are more positive topics. I just play this version for too long, already have enough fun with it
I appreciate how Amakna put its effort in this game. But I see a lot of old people who used to speak inside the forum often quit after some period of time, if this game is not improving, or finished, it'll continue to lose more experience players.
Least important stuff
The least important thing I might want to say is that I'm currently working on Osamados, I still like Cra, but I think I should have try something else rather still stick to one class,the Osamados is fun to play, I control my spell precisely so I can learn what each element are created for, there aren't many topics about Osamados in this forum and in the Wakfu world, but I think Hybrid build is good for me now, just restart recently. Having fun soloing and capturing most mob inside Sufokia, will travel to other nation soon

Osamados is a good class or PvE because you got Summons that help you deal damage while you train your spell somewhere far away. But the flaw of this class is that they haven't implemet the GobGob spell, I see that the spell Gobgob use has lvl and spell exp, but I dont know how to earn it. Flaw ?? Or just me playing dumb ?
