Well this is a pretty crappy patch. Its like you have to grind hard before you can even see any progress with your toon. Welp time to uninstall.

im wondering how the skill points reset goes?
"Ability and Characteristic points have been split. Your character now gains 5 Ability points and 5 Characteristic points for each level, to be distributed independently." this is not what it looks like, im lvl 24 and i got a total of 238 (119 each) and my friend is lvl 41 and have 444. |

Well i am playing an air sacrieur, i guess i can give that up now that you don't get travel sickness to a decent lvl anymore.
The only thing I can do now is invest all ability points in HP and try to kill the enemies with weak attacks before they burn away all my life....Not really a fun way to play. |

Thats the table off of the french forums. he did say the exact amounts MAY vary, but thats the general idea. The higher you level, the more points you get per level. |

Oh noesssss, i cant have 3 max specials at lvl 17... Noooooo..Oh..wait... it now means il have something to put points into at lvl 40 -.-, or 50 -,-... Yeah, because there's nothing more fun than grinding twenty or thirty levels just to be able to raise one skill by one point, right? There's a difference between "having things to look forward to" and "going twenty levels between getting anything at all".
(Especially since you couldn't get three skills maxed by level 17. It cost at least 85 points to max out most skills, and some cost more, while you only had 80 points at level 17 under the old system. Exaggeration doesn't help your argument). It's also good game mechanics - you're supposed to make the low levels fast, with quick and easy boosts in both levels and skills, to keep new players interested and give them a taste of power, then slow things down as players get to the higher levels, because by then players have a stake in their character. With this new patch, Wakfu just did the opposite - making low levels (when players are least invested in their characters and/or the game) slow and painful, while giving you more skill points at high level (when you need them least, because your build is pretty much set in stone by that point). I'm not quite sure how to fix that (because, obviously, it makes no sense to give you fewer points as you get higher levels up) other than yet another revamp of the entire skill system. Edited to add: Actually, they could probably just give all skills the 10/30/50/100/150 point cost that Xelor's Dial seems to have, instead of the wildly-varying amounts they have now. With that pricing, characters can max out at most only 5 skills, but it won't feel like forever between having enough skill points to raise things. Because, again, giving you a passive skill at level 6, but then not giving you enough points to make the skill actually DO anything until level 13 defeats the purpose of giving you a skill at level 6 to begin with. I'm usually one of Ankama's biggest defenders, and I work through most nerfs without any problem, but this just kills so much of the fun by changing anticipation into a slog. There has to be some sort of middle ground between being able to max a skill at level 18, and having to gain a dozen levels just to raise one skill by one point. Ecaflip’s Speed bonus becomes “Rate of Critical Hits +50%”. What does the patch note referring to in this part? Is it about the rabies skill? |

I can't believe that the Anakama doesn't fixed the bug about losing turns with 0 times................... It happen 100000x every day, making fight solo a impossible mission when you lose 4, 5 turns consecutive.
