WAKFU : Open beta in April!
27th April, 2011! Write it in your diaries, because it’s the official release date of the open beta, as announced at the 6th Ankama Convention. After several months of closed beta-testing, it’s time to move on to this new and very important stage in the game’s development, which will also be a major event for all the fans waiting impatiently for the chance to explore the WAKFU universe. To access the beta, all you will need is an Ankama account. Get in the spirit: check out the video preview! |

Hasn't the beta been up for several years instead of several months?

Taking a look at the past 6resets? and the fact we had a wisdom glich that allowed you to recieve ridiculously large amount exp. Yes there will definitely be a reset..
Vital for a "Make sure everything works as intended before launch" Beta. |

And just to quote Alexande-pow, Every CB ive been in, Apon OB there is a Wipe.
You need to remember, CB wasnt about you guys getting a head start on the rest of the players (Or to get technical, Beta Testers) it was about a selected few testing the game out. Now with Open Beta, they will want to test the server strength, and just have a whole bunch of people test everything, and anything. Tho with Ankama, Im not sure weither there will be a wipe after OB, Most games dont.. but this is Ankama after all P.S can't believe it took me 2 years to put up my first post. Hehe. Ciao, Ascaron |

Not sure... I mean the each got their own pros and cons so I think those who chose dofus will probably stay there and maybe play wakfu from time to time(or never xD) I'll start playing because I love the concept but had to retire from dofus 4 years ago because of personal reasons.. Perhaps more retired players will come.. |

I disagree with you Cheesestrip. Why i say that is, Dofus... is a limited game once Wakfu comes out, Dofus & Wakfu have such similarities, but Wakfu goes beyond the features that Dofus has. So i can be more than sure that the Dofus players (Not all, but quiet a few in my opinion) will end up here in Wakfu. The only way i can see Dofus players staying there side, is due to their levels, their clans etc etc. But im more than sure, during Open Beta, you will see the server overload quiet often at the very start. Im an ex Dofus player too, but Dofus never offered such depth to a game as wakfu has now. Ascaron.

I beg your pardon for my English, I use google translator.
I am very glad that the game finally comes out in the release. So I really hope the game will come with support for Russian language. I recently started playing Dofus, but unfortunately a lot of leaves time to translate the simplest of quests. |
