I've been playing on Linux since beta. Back then there was an annoying issue with the NA installer, and we had to use the FR one to install the game. But apart from that it's worked pretty reliably. Krosmaster is the only thing that never worked in-game.

I don't use Ubuntu, so this doesn't affect me, but I hope this means Linux-specific bugs will be addressed in a more timely manner. Also I hope they don't switch to making it exclusive to Ubuntu...

This is all fine and dandy for us Linux users, but... how long until we can actually play Krosmaster from within the game without the whole thing crashing? I know you're bound on that regard to the Flash player, but still. :c
I was worried until I was able to try it as well. Krosmaster works as intended when accessed from within the game interface. Did you get the same?

Eh? Krosmaster is working for you? Are you using the new Ubuntu version from the software center?

I tried it just the other day and it still crashes Wakfu when you try to launch it in-game. Same with the in-game cash shop (both features use an in-game browser session, so the two are likely related).
I've actually tried it a few times since and only seems to work about 1/3 of the time. Makes no sense but I also have Chromium open when it does, and I do not alt tab out of the window I'm loading Krosmaster in at all. Otherwise, it won't crash but it will stay at a black/blank screen after clicking on the table. But it did work first try after installing/updating.

One problem I do have though, is the new client doesn't seem to remember key bindings or configuration changes.

Installed from Software Center on Ubuntu 12.04 on 2 different computers now, nothing happens when I press Play in the launcher. And I got no output running it from the terminal.

Xubuntu 12.04 x86_64, Wakfu works fine.

sudo apt-get install ia32-libs libtxc-dxtn-s2tc0 libjpeg62:i386 driconf -y
and enable S3TC in driconf.

Wakfu isn't found in ubuntu software center (anymore?), thus unable to install through the provided ubuntu installation method.

That's strange, it's still there for me. But maybe one solution, if it doesn't appear, is to refresh the Ubuntu software centre from the terminal:

> sudo apt-get update

But even if it's not in the software centre, there's still downloading it from the download page as a .sh shell script, and running:

> chmod a+x ./Downloads/Wakfu_unix.sh
> ./Downloads/Wakfu_unix.sh

And also, there are the Linux 32 bit and Linux 64 bit tarballs, with the executables and readmes that one would need inside, after extraction.
