Lost all achievement progress after update I know the servers are still down, but I noticed this after logging in while we were still able to play yesterday. All my achievement progress has been reset, and any achievements that were already unlocked have been... well, re-locked.
I realized this is because there are some new achievements in the game - a lot more newbie-related ones for sure - but now my character which has already graduated from Incarnam is as if he just skipped class altogether. I don't have the "pay the bridgekeeper 1 kama" achievement, for example, and it's impossible to get now!
On a related note, has anyone else noticed that world map icons are achievement rewards now? It's not as big a problem, because any icons you already put down are still on the map, but it sucks for new players because they start with NO icons, meaning NO way to mark the map until they get their first icon. And it's not exactly explicit in what the reward does, either. "You have received map icon" I think was the text that popped up, and it took me a while to realize it was related to the world map.

well,if u make a new alt testing rogue of pandawa,u'll notice that u get a first map icon in 1 of the achievement at incarnam(i cant remember which one).

but yea,i feel annoyed by this,my old achieve reward is mostly still there but.. i dont like the 0/ 60(or something)

That's terrible, so now any character already outside Incarnam is lacking one map icon? Sigh.

And very true. Seeing 0/1 or 0/3 is okay, but 0/54 is very very disheartening.

I did notice that on my Cra, it was annoying as hell. But i was still low level, so i just remade. But many won't do that for sure, not everyone has low level chars only.

In the olde dayes, you might have had a full character wipe instead for a minor tweak like this. They've changed the rewards, so the easiest way is to clear everyone's achievement progression. If they tried to convert, they might end up making bugs which only occur on converted characters (and waste time trying to fix them, even when a server wipe is coming anyway)

you do notice that theres some bugs which only occur on old chars because they cleared it?
2x fire of love(cannot discard this)
2x haven bag(wasnt a part of achievement but ill just say it anyway,since they didnt hold record on who gotten it or not.)
they shouldve just wipe it if they arent going to hold the record,and it would kind of balance the nations anyway.

I'm really sad I've lost all my achievements too... so I tried going back to Incarnum and doing some of them - to my dismay I can't get rid of the emote scrolls!! I can't discard them and I can't use them!! Does this mean I am stuck with 2 inventory spaces that I can't use forever?

What they could have done instead of partially converting between old and newer versions of maybe changed achievements, at least, would be to keep finished achievements as completed. It'd even be easy to check if somebody would have achieved most of them by just looking if it has that Gemligem / Gemliface or whatnot.

This pretty much confirms that there will be a wipe after beta is complete... I'm gonna play a little less now  

u can delete emote scroll. click the scroll, and find trash can icon which located beside the emote picture.

There is no reason to try and keep current characters "achieved". The work that'd be need to keep them rewarded is not beneficial in the long run to the Beta. The effort made would be effort spent on something which has effectively been thrown away already. It is not something which will reoccur at a later date.

There's already official words from official people from official mouths saying there will be a wipe "sometime in the future"... how much more dozy do you want to be on this issue?

anyway,with this its confirmed that they will reset the achieve again when sufokia comes out.
and all that achieve which requires you to save zaap or drago express.forget em. u cant do it anymore.
+ the map marker which u can only get if u can pass the river of death at incarnam.
