Okay, it's nice to see people contributing to the process, but there seems to be some reluctance among some of you to use this forum fully...
Please keep the "Translation Status" thread for the devs to report updates etc in the Translation Status... not as an all encompassing thread to report everything you find (which effectively means this whole sub-forum is basically one giant thread).
If you have a proper comment, or a lot of corrections, please make a new thread. If you just want to post a couple of translation issues you've found during play that you feel don't need a whole new thread, please post them in this thread.
I started my own thread for my own finds, fully intending to keep them there, but it was merged into the Translation status topic. That indicated to me that they wanted me to post such things there rather than in new topics.
Hammhour had already been translated for an artbook, so it was kept for continuity's sake.... however, there's a Hammer Time joke in the Hammhour Evocation description! **edit: Just been in-game to look, and this spell has evidently been replaced! The Hammer Time joke will therefore be moved to the Hammhour description.
Technically speaking, the spellings should all be US (so, actually it's "Shriveling" etc. as well, as strange as it looks to non-US readers)...
IP = Initiative Points, though that can be changed to Init. for clarity.
Glad to hear there are good points too, things are getting changed gradually, as you can see! Keep the suggestions and corrections coming, and we'll keep milking candles.

Go Hammer! Go Hammer!
Sacrier's Burning Blood: not sure, but to me "Boiling Blood" makes more sense to me... as in the phrase "that makes my blood boil" meaning I'm really angry. "burning blood" makes me thing "passionate" (in the pants) rather than angry.
Skilful: sorry, different thing this time... It's a bit vague. I'd suggest "Nimble" or "Agile" since it provides +dodge, and opposes "Awkward". Skilful could mean anything. Awkward: Probably has nothing to do with your parents walking in on you in the middle. "Clumsy" seems slightly more specific, or at least less ambiguous.
Eniripsa's "Second Birth Mark": "Rebirth Mark" is less of a mouthful. Or, if you want word play Kar Mark (Karma... as in, the cycle of rebirth)
Spell mismatches Moribund: shows as "Near Death" in the ability-upgrade UI. The State it creates is called Near Death as well. I like "Moribund" as it's a little more distinct. Clinging to Life: shows as "Undead" in the ability-upgrade UI. "Impending Death" is the state's name. I'd go for "Cling to Life" as a skill name. Certainly not "Undead" as it's ambiguous with the Zombification state's effects (the heal as harm effect). Death Sentence: shows as "Euthanized" in the upgrade UI. Since Euthanazia is a mercy killing normally... it's not really an "angry" action. "Death Sentence" is good. Motion Sickness: shows as "Travel Sickness", and the state is "Transport Sickness"... If the name is supposed to be different from the state, then drop "Transport Sickness" and use one of the other two. Extra-Vigrrrous: shows as "Overpowerful", with the "Ultra-Powerful" state. "Extra-Vigrrrous" is good. Especially when both "Overpowerful" and "Ultra-Powerful" are very ambiguous with the "Ultra-powerful" Doll created by the Sadida spell Still Life.
Timekeeper: or "Time-keeper" in UI? Temporal Images: a.k.a "Time Stands Still" in UI. Temporal Images sounds better.
Art of Jumble: or "Kit Skill" in the upgrade UI. Kit Skill is good.
Any reason why it's "Three P.M.", when the other two spells are "Nine A.M." and "Six A.M." ... couldn't it just be "Three o'Clock", "Six o'Clock" and "Nine o'Clock" since it's positions on the clock.
The Profession UI calls it "Lumberjack" but the items call themselves "Forester's Harvests"
For the Trapper Profession, you could probably call items "Trapper's Harvests" to match the naming convention, rather than "Collected by the Trapper" (bit long-winded that).
Bakery items can be "Bread" rather than "Bakery"
Chef items can be "Food" or "Meal" rather than "Gastronomy"
As a side note, the item types "... Harvests", "... Decorations", etc seem a bit odd... the items are all singular items (with the exception of boots and "cards" weapons). The "Cards" weapon-type are still mislabelled as "Maps".
"Champ slobber/roots/etc"... I think this is supposed to be "Field ..." items, or maybe "Flower ...".
"Blibli leather/ring/etc" ... These is "Boar leather/etc"
Oamoka|2011-06-01 08:04:45The spell "Cat Tree" makes little to no sense. I could be wrong, but I believe "Arbre de chat" is something for cats to sharpen their claws on, a "Scratching Post".
No, they actually exist in english: Click here
Cat trees are a bit more elaborate than scratching posts, with all kindsa crap that cats enjoy like hidey holes, dangling things, and scratching posts in one giant combo (like one of those all-in-one printer-scanner-fax machines).
Hoopiwi Key: talks about "Jonk's territory". For Amakna, the dungeons are actually in Hugh Jaxman's territory (not sure about Bonta)
Edit: It is Jonk Lees' territory for Bonta, but obviously that's not universal to all nations.
The map refers to "Kara" in Bonta, while the notification when entering the actual area calls it "Kara Plain"
"Bonta Ruins" (on the map UI) or "Bonta Village" (on area-transition)? It doesn't really look like a ruin anymore.
When hovering over the Wakfu / Stasis Gauge while it's empty (balanced: neither W nor S showing), it says Wakfu / Stasis Jauge instead of Gauge.
When you get invited to a group and only react after the inviter has logged off (I'd guess it also happens when proposed an exchange and the other person logs off, etc.), the following text appears in the chat box: "You're contact either isn't online or doesn't exist!". The first word should be "Your", not "You're".
